The Coast, Brought Inland
Valdosta sits a couple hours from the water in every direction — so The Salty Snapper decided to bring the coast to it. Fresh Gulf seafood arrives on a steady tide, hits the raw bar and the fryer, and lands on the table the way a beach trip should taste.
It's oysters on the half shell, snow crab by the pound, and golden fried platters big enough to share. Add a cold drink and a room full of people in good moods, and you've got the closest thing to a coastal getaway you'll find off Exit 16. The goal was never just good seafood — it was the whole easy, salty, sun-warm experience of it.
